The German government has not made a decision yet on whether to send German tanks to Ukraine to help in the war against Russia.

A meeting on Friday to coordinate military donations for Kyiv did agree to supply more armoured vehicles and air defence systems.

But Ukrainian officials had hoped Germany would send its Leopard tanks, which are best-suited for the battlezone.
