Dr. Sauer is a Lehigh Valley native who attended Bethlehem Catholic High School and now serves as its Team Physician. Dr. Sauer was a starter on the State Championship football team in 1988, and also served as Student Body President. He went on to attend the University of Notre Dame and Georgetown University School of Medicine. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a fellowship in orthopedic foot and ankle surgery.
