CINCINNATI (Liz Bonis) -- A new report gave yet another reason to eat a big ole bowl of bran flakes for breakfast, or any other whole grain!There are all kinds of reasons to eat more whole grains in a persons diet. There was some research that showed those who do have better blood sugar levels and less waist weight. Now there is yet another reason whole grains may help you live longer.It was published in Jama Internal Medicine. Researchers in the study looked at whole grains and 118,000 people. They compared them to those who ate whole grains instead of refined grains and found people were less likely to die over the 25 years in the study from all causes.That may be that those who eat more grains were healthier eaters overall or got more vitamins. But officials do know that if people can eat something such as a whole grain cereal for breakfast that was a good way to start. Most people eat the same nine foods every day and the same breakfast every day.
