The first challenge for Canadian members of Parliament on Monday was just getting to the office – the House of Commons – as anti-vaccine mandate protesters from the so-called “Freedom Convoy” continued to demonstrate in the nation’s capital for a third day.

MPs who spoke to Global News said coming to work is part of democracy and won’t stop them from doing their job, some even feeling nervous to walk thorough the crowds.
