Tina Turner, the "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll," died today at her home in Küsnacht, Switzerland, after a long illness. She had lived for 83 years.

In a statement, her U.K. representative, Bernard Doherty, said, "With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model."Turner was identified with intestinal cancer in 2016, and in 2017 he got a new kidney.
