This 9ft long croc weighs 900 kg and is an important part of the family. While owning exotic animals is a common occurrence in Indonesia, keeping a gigantic croc as a pet certainly is unusual. Kid And His Pet Python Three-month-old Sambath of Cambodia developed a bond with a tiny snake his mother found in the house and the family decided to keep it as a pet and name it Chamroeun! The friendship grew so much that the kid would hug, cuddle and even sleep together in his crib! And not so long after that, the snake grew into a 16 foot long, 220-pound creature, yet by then they had developed an unbreakable bond, and the boy and snake’s strange friendship started to gain attention worldwide and tourists would flok to their home to witness the unique friendship for themselves. But here’s why pythons aren’t meant to be kept as pets: this enormous snake bit the boy the family was forced to give up their fanged family member. Sambath was heartbroken but reportedly told the press that he wants his next pet to be a bunny rabbit.
