Lisa Holman and Stephanie Fairweather, who have been living frugally as students in Bastyr University's Master of Science in Nutrition program, teach you their own tricks on "How to Eat Healthy on a Budget". Under the guidance of clinical supervisor Kelly Morrow, MS, RD, CD, Holman and Fairweather offer tips on how to stretch your dollars and make healthy choices such as: - How to avoid processed foods and why you should. - When it's worth paying extra for organic - How to buy bulk foods and keep them fresh - Where to find inexpensive organic and whole foods in the Seattle area - Recipes featuring moneywise healthy meals and snacks "Living Naturally: Conversations on Health and Happiness with Bastyr Experts" is a free series of talks presented by Bastyr University and its teaching clinic, Bastyr Center for Natural Health.
