How do you determine your squat stance? Here's the hip scour

video thumbnail
The hip scour was learned from Dr. Stuart McGill and is a great way to understand anatomy and limits in the hip joint. This athlete has VERY shallow hips for olympic lifting, which is not for everyone.

We always work squat form as individual-specific, and no one size fits all cookie-cutter. This client has long legs, a thin torso, and is very limber. To get stronger and better at lifting, we will have to stiffen her up and adjust her form.

Stay tuned for many more videos concerning squat form, approach, and body adjustment.
