“Resolve issue through dialogue” Indian community raises concern amid India-Canada standoff |

The India-Canada ties have reached all-time low after PM Justin Trudeau levelled “absurd” allegations against India. Canadian PM Justin Trudeau alleged India’s involvement in killing Khalistan Tiger Force chief Hardeep Singh Nijjar. However, India outrightly rejected Canadian PM Justin Trudeau’s “absurd” and “motivated” claim. Meanwhile, the Indian Community in Canada is concerned over the recent strain in relations between the two countries. Indian-origin Canadian citizen said that both countries are extremely important and they should resolve issues through dialogue. Indo-Canadian lawyer Ajaib Singh has said relations between two countries should improve as Indian students studying in Canada. On top of that, Ajaib Singh said that India-Canada should resolve their issues at table as visa ban is not the solution. Moreover, Senior Canadian journalist Tahir Gora wants, the Indian community’s opinion to be brought forward. MEA on Sept 21 said that security threats being faced by the Indian High Commission and Consulates in Canada.
