From lightness to darkness | Dhiraj Singh | TEDxJUIT |
|
This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. After surviving the premonition in childhood, Dhiraj Singh started appreciating the value of life. Additionally, the life of people at nearby mental hospital strengthened this realization even more. But he pursued mental hospital people with an entirely different perspective. He perceived it as an idea of creative and crazy art and with this started the journey from lightness to darkness. He grew up and started with journalism. This was how he became aware of abstract art- an art beyond the form. His insights made him associate art deeply with emotions. This got reflected when he exposed himself to the world of X-Ray art. His art work includes Urban Shaman, Greening of Iracus, The Black Tide, The Throne, Kali and Trapped in Air. The talk further constitutes the idea behind these works including a brief mention of the emotions that inspired the creation.
