How Lady Tremaine Favored Drizella More Than Anastasia | Disney Cinderella

Lady Tremaine may be the most iconic “stepmother” ever to have existed in cinema, but not necessarily for a positive reason. No, she was the character who solidified the idea of a “wicked” or “evil” step-parent. That being said, her greedy and self-righteous attitude didn’t simply weigh heavily upon her infamous stepdaughter, Cinderella. Sadly, even her own daughters had to face their mother’s toxic love– a love so toxic that it involved Lady Tremaine favoring one of her children over the other. But if that wasn’t disgusting enough, the reason why Lady Tremaine favored Drizella over Anastasia is genuinely haunting. Especially when you consider the idea that Drizella could have grown up to become an amazing person had she not been manipulated her whole life by her wicked mother.
