Hello everyone and thanks for tuning in to today's ten day forecast video update. We're going to look at the weather for the next ten to fourteen days. Day ten will take us to 3rd May - and we'll be able to extend out beyond that with the extended and ECM ensembles (they run to around a couple of weeks) We'll have a look at the CFS V2 for the next four weeks, taking into the second half of May, at the end of the video...

High pressure remains to the west with low pressure to the east. Winds continue from a northerly direction and temperatures remain depressed for the time being. Looking ahead to the end of the week and the weekend we may see the weather turning more unsettled with low pressure returning and bringing more bouts of heavy rain. A weekend washout on the way? Looking ahead towards early May we could be seeing the first hints of something drier and warmer courtesy of the Azores High though there is a lot of uncertainty as always... And todays model output probably looks more unsettled for early May today....
