Keita Mayanda is son of Luanda, where he discovered and developed his passion for music, especially Black Music. In the first half of the 90 starts in Rap, as an artist and activist of the Movement National Hip-Hop. In 2002 he participates in a compilation of rappers Angolans living in Portugal, "Ondjango: Identidade Elaborada". In the same year, the first form and writes cd set with Conjunto Ngonguenha which is released only in 2004 titled "Ngonguenhação." Back in Angola, he records the first solo album "The Man and the Artist", wich is launched in 2006. However, between 2003 and 2007 he participates as a producer in a series of cultural events related to the Hip-Hop Theater Elinga in space. In 2005, he participates as interviewed in the documentary "May Grow surinam". Together with the other members of the Conjunto Ngonguenha he produces the audio portion of the play "Quantas Madrugadas tem a Noite". In 2010 he records and launches the second cd of Conjunto Ngonguenha "Nós os do Conjunto". In 2012 participates in the audio production of the play "Tanta Asneira para dizer: Luanda é Bonita". Since 2012 he is Selecta resident Bakama Bar, where on the night of Thursday, makes the selection of the musical bar with a focus on Black Music. In 2013 preparing a new solo album which will be called "AnosLuz: Introduction to Afrofuturism." --- In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
