Analyst, Producer and Advisor
Tiago Costa (TC) was born in Lisbon in '85 but it might as well have been born in the former Sovietic Union, given the context of that time. Studied in several Portuguese cities before returning definitively to Luanda after completion a Law Degree and Postgraduate in Advisory and Consultancy in Communication and Marketing with sense of "mission accomplished."

Early shows skills in written and oral communication and while attending law school at the Catholic University of Porto, started writing some articles and see them in a magazine whose primary market was Angola, with the main emphasis in the 2008 legislative elections. With great pride and equal commitment, participates as a production assistant on the short film "Alambamento" Prize winner FIC 2010. Finished the course and goes back to Luanda to collaborate with the monthly magazine "ÁfricaToday" for 6 months. At the same time, with two friends, produces a special issue of the Journal Report (owned by the Ministry of Social Communication) concerning the new legislative package (TV, Community Radio, Statute of Journalists...). Return to Portugal and as he finishes graduate school, he also collaborate with communications agency Angolan Executive. He is currently producer of GOZ'A'QUI, a Stand Up Comedy event occurring every week in the capital city, with the aim of promoting domestic and foreign comedians who are in the country.

"I believe that what I do is by and others. Or else, do nothing. I understand, however, that I know precisely what others, varying from area to area, or should not do, communicational level to succeed or simply to avoid crises, assuming that communication and image are inextricably linked. Rejo me by one of the maxims that Einstein believed that imagination is more important than knowledge. "

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
