This is the videorecording of my workshop presentation provided at Stoicon 2017, focused on Stoic perspectives and practices that can be useful in dealing with difficult people in the workplace.

In the course of the workshop, we discuss common challenges in applying Stoic philosophy within the contemporary workplace. We also run through a list of different types of difficult people, examining why we find dealing with them difficult.

Then, we turn to some Stoic strategies - drawn directly from Epictetus, Seneca, Marcus Aurelius, and Cicero - that can be helpful. Some of these are immediately useful in particular situations, and others require a bit more of a long-term commitment and practice.
