So, the main difference between these two is their design. If you look at most Sole elliptical machines you notice they have a front wheel drive system. This means the drive system is at the front of the pedals. For some users this kind of setup feels more stable than others. While NordicTrack does have front wheel drive systems they also offer a wide variety of center drive units like the NordicTrack ACT 10 and optional rear drive trainers. The preference here is for center drive trainers which some feel are more comfortable as you get to stand in a more upright position and the pedals are closer to the ground.
