Windshield Wiper Legs in Yoga

When you twist, you reset your central nervous system. It's almost like hitting a reset button for your brain. Unfortunately, in yoga, some of the twists are so deep that many average people cannot complete them correctly. This can lead to injury and pain, and it gives people the idea that twisting is bad for the spine. Windshield wiper legs, however, is a yoga twist appropriate for people of all levels.

If you Google Windshield wiper legs or Windshield wiper yoga, you will probably find a picture of Knee-down twist with both legs stacked on top of each other. This is not what I'm talking about. By putting space between the legs, it's more likely to perform this pose correctly and provide relief for your back and nervous system.
