Dimensions to make this cardboard dresser from scratch (wood dimensions below) * For the cardboard and wood version of the dresser, leave some reveal on both sides of the Front piece. Google a photo of the Dollar Tree dresser to see what I mean or pause the video while I'm showing the piece I copied. Finished dresser is 4 1/4" tall, 2 7/8" wide, 1 5/16" deep Cut 7 pieces from a cardboard box top: 2 7/8 in x 1 1/4 in 3.175 cm x 7.3 cm front: 2 1/2 in x 3 1/2 in 6.35 cm x 8.9 cm * I cut mine into 4 drawers: (4) 3/4 in x 2 1/2 in 1.9 cm x 6.35 cm skirt board: 1/2 in x 6 in 1.27 cm x 15.24 cm * One piece will do even though I wrote x2 in the video (2) side pieces: 7/8 in x 3 1/2 in 2.2 cm x 8.9 cm (2) back pieces: 2 1/4 in x 3 1/2 in 5.7 cm x 8.9 cm Dimensions for wood dresser Cut 9 pieces from wood 1/8 in thick wood. You can use thicker or thinner wood. The finished dimensions will be slightly different. top: 2 7/8 in x 1 1/4 in 3.175 cm x 7.3 cm front: 2 1/2 in x 3 3/8 in 6.35 cm x 8.57 cm skirt board: (2) 1/2 in x 2 7/8 in 1.27 cm x 3.175 cm (front & back) (2) 1/2 in x 3/4 in (two sides) 1.27 cm x 1.9 cm (2) sides: 7/8 in x 3 3/8 in 2.22 cm x 8.57 cm Cut the back piece to fit the space on the back between the top, two sides and base skirt board.
