Bears hibernate in winter so why shouldn’t we? Nature sets an example for what to do during the winter months but hibernation is a little too extreme for endurance athletes, as you’ll give up too much of your hard-earned fitness. On the other hand, year round focused training can lead to burnout, injury or over training.
