Hello everyone and thanks for tuning in to today's video. We're going to look at the weather for the next ten to fourteen days for this video. Day ten will take us to the twentieth of October - and we'll be able to extend out beyond that with the extended GFS and ECM ensembles (they run to around a couple of weeks)

The next couple of days will have some relatively dry weather but the end of the week will see low pressure breaking through from off the Atlantic bringing heavy showers and longer spells of rain. Low pressure then looks set to dominate through the next few weeks with a very wet second half to October looking possible - Are we about to start making up the rainfall deficit???
