Hello everyone and thanks for tuning in to today's ten day forecast video. We're going to look at the weather for the next ten to fourteen days. Day ten will take us to the twenty-fourth of May - and we'll be able to extend out beyond that with the extended GFS and ECM ensembles (they run to around a couple of weeks)

A trough of low pressure is moving into a ridge of high pressure this weekend bringing showery conditions with it. Next week finds high pressure becoming increasingly influential and the the trend through the second half of May should be more of an anticyclonic one with a growing chance of warmer and drier weather to come... High pressure strikes back for late May and signs of summer within todays model output perhaps?
