Today:

Saturday begins mostly dry and cloudy but there is a little bit of light rain and drizzle in the west. We've got some patchy dense fog across the far south and south west of England and Wales. It's been very mild overnight with frost-free temperatures.

Through the rest of the day most places will stay dry with plenty of cloud and just limited bright or sunny spells. A very mild day with temperatures of 6C to 12C.

Tonight:

Another mainly dry and cloudy night though clear spells across southern and southwestern England and south Wales could lead to some dense fog patches. Temperatures hold up to 3C to 8C.

Tomorrow

A mostly dry day with a cloud start but more in the way of bright or sunny spells should develop as the day wears on. Very mild again with temperatures of 6C to 12C.

Outlook:

Monday: Mostly dry with bright or sunny spells. Mild or very mild.

Tuesday: Very mild with sunny spells. Showers for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Spring-like temperatures!

Wednesday: A band of rain moving eastwards. Very mild in the south and east, colder in the north and west.
