Ensuring high and sustainable economic growth in Russia is largely due to the creation of an effective system of corporate legislation. The main vector of development of corporate legislation has recently been based on the creation of conditions for the promotion of Russia in the World Bank's Doing Business rating, which resulted in the promotion of Russia in terms of “protecting minority shareholders” from the 100th to the 51st place. However, ensuring steady increase in the capitalization of companies and growth of investments (including return of capital to Russia) under the current sanctions restrictions requires revision of the reform course in the area of corporate law.
