The NordicTrack FS14i FreeStride Trainer lets you use it 3 different ways. You can use it like an elliptical, treadmill, and stair-stepper. This way you can target your muscles differently while getting in an effective low-impact, full body workout.

The FS14i also inclines up to 10% and declines to -10% for even more challenging training. This paired with the 26 levels of quiet magnetic resistance, and you’ll be huffing and puffing in no time.

The FreeStride Trainer is really great for users of all sizes. It has a large 375 lb user weight capacity, large oversized textured pedals, and a 32 inch stride length. The stride length is a bit long for shorter users, but you can adjust the stride length yourself. This adjustability lets you use it multiple ways.

The 14 inch touch screen is also enabled to use iFit with a monthly subscription. We recommend the iFit membership in order to get full functionality of the machine. iFit offers thousands of live and on-demand classes in a wide variety of types both on and off equipment. On the NordicTrack FS14i FreeStride Trainer you can take elliptical, hiking, walking, and running trainer-led classes on iFit. iFit definitely makes workouts more interesting.

The FS14i is a bit heavy and hard to move so we suggest keeping it in a designated space. There are transportation wheels and a handle if you need to move it occasionally though. It is also pretty compact because of the center drive system, but be aware that you’ll need extra room in front and behind the FreeStride trainer when it’s in use because of the long stride lengths.

Another thing to keep in mind is that it can be a little challenging to get on and off because the pedals and handles can be moved even when it’s not plugged in. We do wish there was a stationary handle for this reason.
