Like in other interactive programs, you only need to download the Stryde app and pay a monthly subscription to start accessing live workouts. Stryde offers users access to 5 different studios each with multiple instructors. A key element Stryde uses to differentiate itself is access to third party apps which many competing streaming services don’t. In terms of build you will appreciate this bike’s strong but compact construction which makes it small enough for small apartments but strong enough for a relatively high weight capacity. Features Build Despite a sleek design, the Stryde is a strong bike made using welded steel. It is small enough for small apartments but strong enough to accommodate heavier users weighing up to 350 pounds. The sports seat is well cushioned for comfort and is easily adjustable to suit users of different heights. Indentations on the handlebars help to improve grip especially for sweaty hands. Interactive training It was Peloton who first introduced the concept which was more than just well received. Now many manufacturers are looking to get into this market and Stryde is one of them. The Stryde bike is a somewhat new entrant to the market but works more or less the same as top competitors. Using the Stryde app, you get access to classes from 5 different studios and a variety of instructors within each studio. With this you have a wide variety of interactive workouts to choose from and even get workouts based on preferred genres of music. Third party apps On some spin bikes, you can only access the corresponding app using the display device. You have to keep up with subscription payments to access live workouts and on-demand workout sessions. In the event that your subscription expires, the screen is more or less useless. Stryde sets itself apart by allowing you to download other apps on the included tablet, other than the Stryde app. You can download Netflix for entertainment or YouTube for an unlimited number of cycling workouts, never being fully dependent on Stryde subscription. |
