Hello everyone and thanks for tuning in to today's ten day forecast video update. We're going to look at the weather for the next ten to fourteen days. Day ten will take us to 30th April - and we'll be able to extend out beyond that with the extended and ECM ensembles (they run to around a couple of weeks) We'll have a look at the CFS V2 for May at the end of the video...

High pressure will be sitting to our west with low pressure to the east in the coming days. The weekend is looking mostly dry but chilly with northeasterly winds and these cool conditions look set to last through next week. By the end of next week we could see a change back to low pressure from off the Atlantic with the weather turning more unsettled again by months end. Watch out for an increasing risk of heavy and rain into the start of May though temperatures could stage a bit of recovery,
