The bodies of eight Muslim victims of yesterday's helicopter crash are expected to be taken to the 23rd Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment here for funeral prayers.

It is understood that the bodies will be then taken home to their respective hometowns.

Two Royal Malaysian Navy trucks were seen arriving at the Forensic Department courtyard of Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital Ipoh this morning to transport the bodies of 10 officers and personnel who perished in the crash of two helicopters at the TLDM Lumut Base.
