Greetings | National Girl Child Day | 2022 | GNB
30th September is back at the end of the year and it’s “NATIONAL GIRL CHILD DAY." This day is a matter of pride in Bangladesh because the celebration of Girl Child Day started in Bangladesh. The theme of this year's Girl Child Day is The commitment of time, and the rights of the girl child. This is the case now and when we see girl children triumphing in every field - in education, sports, and professions. In every case we see girls winning, when we watch national cricket, football, and hockey we see the development of girls and how they are bringing victory for the country nationally and internationally, bringing us pride. So, on this day I congratulate and thank all the girl children of the country for making us proud as a nation and we want to move forward as a nation to fulfill the rights of the girl child. We have a lot of work to do here in terms of our policy-making, both publicly and privately. I believe the “Girl Child Advocacy Forum” which has started to engage with this issue at the highest level, will be capable and able to create a policy framework so that the girl child can have more opportunities and grow up more safely. When we look at developed countries why is developed because there is more security there. There girl children and women workers can move safely day and night. We have to see whether we have been able to make such a safe society and roads in our country! When we see girls move safely, we can think that we have progressed like the western countries. So today I thank everyone from Good Neighbors we do special work that focuses on the socio-economic condition of Bangladesh. That is, we do the “Good Daddy Campaign” and we award successful fathers once a year in our work area who take special care, educate and raise their daughters. The core meaning of this is that fathers in our society are much stronger, and more powerful, and the more powerful they are, the more responsibility they have. We want to reward their responsibilities and encourage them more. That is why I congratulate our field workers, and colleagues who have worked hard this year in the “Good Daddy Campaign” and congratulate all the Good Daddies. Thank you very much, everyone. - M Mainuddin Mainul/Country Director/GNB #NationalGirlChildDay #GirlChild #ChildRights #GNBChildRights #GNBforGirlChild #GNB We are available at: http://gnbangla.org/ https://www.facebook.com/GNBangla/ https://www.youtube.com/gnbangla https://www.instagram.com/gnbangla/ https://www.linkedin.com/company/gnbangla https://gnbangla.wordpress.com/ |
