Let’s Change Your Mind...Literally | Jessica Layne | TEDxCSULB |
|
Jessica Layne offers a new perspective on embracing the lifelong benefits that can be found through practicing mindful psychological awareness and altered states of consciousness. Her TEDx Talk hopes to encourage viewers to get intouch with their own subconscious and unconscious minds.
Jessica Layne is an undergraduate student at California State University, Long Beach. She completed her BS in Chemical Engineering Spring 2018 and is pursuing a BA in Physics with a minor in Environmental Engineering. She has conducted research in the fields of polymers and wastewater treatment, having presented her research at various California conferences as well as the 2018’s American Chemical Society Conference in New Orleans. While embracing her work in Chemical Engineering and Physics, she found that her greatest passions lie in the fields of Consciousness Research, Metaphysics, and Environmental Conservation/Remediation. She is inspired to have a public impact in these areas, to provide societal awareness of the healing capabilities of the human psyche so that we might better connect with this Earth, ourselves and one another. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx |
