Procrastination is a serious problem. It can make you feel overwhelmed and stressed, and it's one of the most common reasons why people don't get anything done. But luckily, there are strategies you can use to beat procrastination and get back on track.

Here are seven practical ways to stop procrastination in its tracks:

1. Split your tasks into smaller parts: You don't have to get everything done at once, so don't try! Tackle one small part of your task at a time, and then move on to another when you're ready.

2. Change your surroundings: If working from home makes you too distracted, try going to a coffee shop or library instead. If working in one place makes you too tired, try another location where you can stay energized and focused.

3. Procrastination roadblocks: Sometimes our best intentions get derailed by external factors like phone calls, emails, and other distractions from family members or friends that make us feel guilty for not being home as often as we'd like to be! If this sounds like something that might happen to you (and it does happen), then schedule time for those things before starting work so they don't waste away precious work hours later on down the road!

4. Reduce the number of decisions you need to make each day by batching similar tasks together (e.g., answering emails or posting on social media)

5. Finish your day before it begins by planning out all the tasks that will take up your time—and then do them first thing in the morning so you don't have to worry about them later on in the day when your brain is tired and not at its best!

6. Re-clarify your goals if they're not helping motivate you toward a better future (which they should be doing if they were written well). Write down three things that are important to you in life and write down what you want out of each one before going back and editing any goals that don't align with those three things anymore.

7. Spend time with those who motivate you to act
The best way to stop procrastinating is to spend time with people who make you want to get things done. If you know someone who's always getting things done, maybe they'll inspire you to do the same!
