Claire Humphrey's innovative talk aims to explore the relationship between the the growth of coffee houses and its effect on positive societal changes. This talk provides a creative new perspective on how to analyze social movements, with valuable insights on how to improve your active listening. Her talk demonstrates how active listening and engaging in dialogue as though we were out getting coffee, can ignite positive social change. Claire Humphrey is a first-year student at Villanova University studying both psychology and gender and women's studies. Claire also competes as a rower on the Villanova Women's Rowing Team. Despite not being a coffee drinker herself, she is passionate about the intersection of active listening, social movements, and coffee shops.
