The Nordictrack Freestrider has more workout movements than the Bowflex Max.
The Freestrider combines multiple lower body motions like stair climbing, jogging, and running. This makes it both an elliptical, treadmill and stepper. The Bowflex Max is an elliptical that gives your stair climbing motions. You also get upper arm body exercises through the movable arms, this are also available in the freestrider.
