A war photographer Patrick Chauvel gives a talk about his 50 years of photography, he discusses how we all use photos to tell our stories. Patrick Chauvelborn 1949 in France, an independent war photographer began when he was 17 years old.He has covered more than twenty conflicts all over the world. In 1995 he was awarded the World Press Photo commendation for Spot News Stories for his coverage of the Battle of Grozny during the First Chechen War.He is also author of some documentary movies. Author of two books
in French, the autobiographical Rapporteur de Guerre (2003) and the novel Sky (2005) This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
