In her talk, Anya shares that the continuity of our culture lies in the hands of the young. One solution is to "develop a sustainable business model around the movement of slow fashion where the front liners are the young playing an active meaningful and purposeful role in weaving an ecosystem of change- transforming cultural degradation to cultural reclamation through the power of our closets, by wearing with intention." Anya is the Queen Ant at ANTHILL, social enterprise that aims to promote the use of local weaves and provide a better livelihood through their local community weaving partners.
