Strength Training Barre Workout for Beginners & Seniors // 30 minute Full Body

Welcome to this full body barre inspired strength workout!
All exercises are performed in a standing position, are low impact and are in a block format. We will do two sets of exercises and repeat them. Each exercise is done for 45 seconds, then we have 15 second break before the next move. Because this workout completed using a timer, it allows you to go at your own pace.
I'm using 5 pound dumbbells for this workout. Please start with lighter weights such as 2 or 3 pounds if you are just starting out.

*Have a chair nearby to assist with some exercises

Make this workout your own! Keep the bends small if you have problems with your knees. Likewise, if you have a hard time lifting weights over your head, just lift to shoulder height.
Do what you can, and each time you will get stronger and this workout will become easier!
