Come with me on a little walk past some favorite comedy clubs through a rainy New York morning. I talk a lot on this channel about the reasons why people usually turn to comedy. Usually, it's a matter of being hungry for catharsis or hungry for distraction. Maybe somewhere in the middle. And lately, I'm not hungry for either. I'm not eager to distract myself or to work through things or even to laugh at all. Right now, I just want to sit in what I'm feeling. Play sad songs, take long walks, bundle up, and just sorta live in it.
