Hello everyone and thanks for tuning in to today's video. We're going to look at the weather for the next ten to fourteen days for this video. Day ten will take us to the twenty-fifth of June - and we'll be able to extend out beyond that with the extended GFS and ECM ensembles (they run to around a couple of weeks) - We'll have a look at CFS v2 for the next four weeks taking us to the 10th July at the end of the video.

Hot air will surge northwards up the western side of Europe at the end of this week bringing the chance of record-breaking heat to the south of the country on Friday. The brief heat spike quickly fades out as we get into the weekend however but there is a lot of uncertainty about whether it fades away or breaks with thunderstorms... Looking ahead to next week there's a range of options but cool and showery northern winds seem mostly at least for while... This video has a detailed look at what happens after the heat spike.
