How to do a Front Barbell Squat

In this short video, Certified Fitness & Nutrition Coach Dimitri Giankoulas specializing in Body Type Specific Training from PURE Motivation Fitness Studio in Vaughan Ontario will be showing and demonstrating how to perform: A Front Barbell Squat

Instructions:
Benefits: Knee dominant strength. Core strength from the anterior load

1. Properly position the barbel on your front shoulders either using the body-building front rack grip or you can use the Olympic front rack position which is good for you.

2. Slowly squat down between your legs. knees travel out to allow for this, inhale on your way down, and then pause at 90 degrees.

3. Once at the bottom, begin your ascent back to a standing position and thrust your power through the feet, and legs and come to a standing position.
