People pay good money for quality weights. You have it attached to you. Yes, you SEEM to progress more slowly, but you're pulling more weight and getting that much stronger. Start with a progression you can do (usually some type of horizontal pullup at varying heights), and lose weight as you train. You can gain strength and lose weight at the same time!
