- Bocuse d'Or Weekly News #25 The 2012 Asian selection -
On its third edition, the Bocuse d'Or Asia was set again in Shanghai. 3 days of competition which took place during the Sirha Shanghai 2012 trade show. For the first time, 10 countries were competing on this continental selection. All with the same dream : taking part in the International Final held in Lyon next January.

Unfortunately, only 4 teams will be qualified and get a chance to represent their country. A pretty big challenge, but we can count on the competitive spirit of those nations. So far, only Singapore made it to the podium with a "Bocuse de Bronze" in 1989.

Chef Christophe Megel (Member of Jury) is positive: "great dishes were released on this edition". He adds that the level keeps on improving and that the technics are getting more more precise. Jérôme Bocuse, is just as enthusiastic, he even predicts that their might be some surprises in Lyon...!
