Anwar defends Nurul Izzah's appointment, says she won't abuse position

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Monday, February 6, gave his assurance that his daughter Nurul Izzah, appointed as his senior adviser on economics and finance, will not abuse her position.

Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, said while he respected the views of "concerned citizens", he reiterated that Nurul Izzah would not receive any remuneration.
