Storytelling in design | Jindřich Fialka | TEDxSciencesPoCampusDijon |

Can garbage have a story? And has this story the potential to make you want to hear it? Would you like to have recicles earrings made from the wood of the famous Petrof piano?
Jindrich and his designer team collaborate with big producers of cars, furniture and road signs, and propose concepts for products that last longeer; the, they process and transform the materials that don't appear useful anymore. Especially the materials with a long history behind them are attractive for the innovators, and they seek to make use of those very stories in order to manufacture unique products. Companies like 3M, Skanska or Wiesner Hager count to their cooperation partners. The strategy of Jindrich's team has led them to significant success during the Universal Exposition 2015 in Milan under the theme "Feeding the Planet. Energy for Life". This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx |
