Two Jersey giants and rivals are teaming up to help boost the supply of coronavirus vaccines across the country. In an unusual deal, drugmaker Merck will help produce Johnson & Johnson’s newly-authorized one-shot vaccine.
Across New Jersey, 2,132,155 doses have been given; 721,131 have been second doses. Tuesday, officials announced 2,820 new, positive cases and 48 deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 707,099 cases in the state and 23,321 confirmed and probable deaths.
