The New Jersey gubernatorial race was a tight contest watched all across the country. According to The Associated Press, Gov. Phil Murphy is the projected the winner and currently leading by about 65,000 votes.

On Monday, officials announced 1,205 new, positive cases of COVID-19 and seven new deaths in New Jersey. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 1,050,219 cases in the state and 28,092 confirmed as well as probable deaths.
