Take a break from sitting and walk a bit! Power walk, mount your treadmill, elliptical- or crosstrainer to activate your body, and relax with this unintrusive virtual hike through nature. 5 minutes long, 600 steps, recorded at a constant cadence of 120 steps per minute, in 4k/UHD resolution. Perfect to silence that inactivity alert of your fitness tracker.
Location of the video is the road from Oberstdorf to the Oytal in the Upper Allgäu. We start with a view towards Oberstdorf main valley, where the road branches off into the Oytal, a huge side valley. The approach is framed by the steep Schattenberg and Hahnenköpfle mountains. You prefer a run over a brisk walk? Pause the video at the beginning and use the advanced settings of the youtube-videoplayer to change the video speed in 5% increments, with each increment adding another six steps per minute.
