|
Take a break from sitting and walk a bit! Power walk, mount your treadmill, elliptical- or crosstrainer to activate your body, and relax with this unintrusive virtual hike through nature. 5 minutes long, 600 steps, recorded at a constant cadence of 120 steps per minute, in 4k/UHD resolution. Perfect to silence that inactivity alert of your fitness tracker.
Location of the video is the Grane Dam near Goslar in the Harz Mountain Range in germany. Its hight is 62 meters from the valley floor. The spillover section requires a 48 meter altitude gain within a 200 meters distance, which equals a 24% incline angle. So, feel free to seriously crank up incline or resistance for that part. 😉 You prefer a run over a brisk walk? Pause the video at the beginning and use the advanced settings of the youtube-videoplayer to change the video speed in 5% increments, with each increment adding another six steps per minute. Normal speed is a brisk walk. 110% speed is great for power walking. 135% and more is a good choice for a virtual trail run. If you liked the video make sure to subscribe.
