Does The Type Of Bike Matter? π² |
|
Does a type of bike matter like a stationary bike, a recumbent bike with a backrest on it or an outdoor bike? It really doesn't matter. All you need to make sure is that you're using your glute muscles properly. Now, if you're on an outdoor bike, you might encounter hills. Or if you're out on a mountain bike trail, you don't want to be doing that because you're going to have to push really hard at some point or brake really hard, and that could aggravate your knee.
You want to be on a flat ground making sure there's not a whole lot of hills and be safe with traffic wear helmet. But my recommendation is that you start on a stationary bike indoors. An upright bike is better because you can use your glutes better. #elpasomanualphysicaltherapy #drdavidmiddaugh ==================================================================== β Subscribe for more FREE tips on how to stay healthy, active & mobile while avoiding unnecessary medication, injections, or surgery: https://www.youtube.com/Epmanualphysicaltherapy?sub_confirmation=1 π Because we've had so many comments about what shoes Dr. David is wearing, here's a link to the shoes on Amazon: Dr. David's Shoes With Insoles - Olukai Brand https://amzn.to/3GwFJeh πββοΈThe massage table Dr. David uses can be found at this link: https://amzn.to/36pcFsg //SHOP OUR COURSES! http://courses.epmanualphysicaltherapy.com //COME SAY HI!
