What kind of workouts do you need to build muscle in your 40's?

Progressive overload means you will need to focus on doing more than you did in your last workout; this doesn't mean doing a different exercise but instead doing MORE weight sets or reps from the previous exercise. -You'll need to track your workouts to do this and pick HOW you're going to beat your numbers. Decide if you want to add weight, add reps or even add a set. -You'll repeat this process for about 4-6 weeks before you need to change exercises.
